30A: Final Reflection
1.) This class was pretty interesting. Definitely something I had to adjust to, especially being a summer class. The last couple of weeks were the toughest for me as I look back. I was getting tired and a little lazy i noticed with my assignments.
2.) The most formative experience was probably deciding the exit strategy assignment. I think it is rare people actually think of that because they are so caught up in the now and it was something new for me. I enjoyed talking to the strangers trying to sell a dollar, and getting weird response and sketched out looks, that was the most joyous experience. I am proud to have read all three of the books this semester. Usually when there are book assignments I get lazy with them, but I am proud I was able to read the books this in this class (probably because I like reading about business).
3.) I think entrepreneurship is definitely something I would consider I have. A lot of these assignments I didn't have to think hard about the answer because I had already thought of them and knew the answer to. I think I did learn more about the mindset, such as venture concepts and new markets.
3.) The advice I have is to work ahead of time and follow the instructions carefully, especially the first week. You will perform best by getting as much done as possible as early as possible. Do this class first thing in the morning. When you train your mind to get it out of the way early, it will make your day better.
Well sadly this is the last time I will be commenting on your blog posts. From the outside it has looked like to me that you have grown a lot and have taken a lot of things out of this course! I think your advice to new students is really good and well said, this class can become a lot of assignments at once so being able to stay ahead of the curve is vital for success.
ReplyDeleteI always struggle with doing schoolwork early on with the day so I will try and take what you say and pull it in for other classes. I felt the same way about having to adjust and get used to taking this class! I am glad we all made it through the semester and I hope you the best of luck on your future classes!
ReplyDeleteThomas, this class was indeed very interesting. I liked it because of how much freedom I had in completing each assignment throughout the semester. The advice that you are leaving for those who take ENT 3003 next semester is very accurate and useful. Working ahead of schedule will give them the opportunity to work in a more meaningful manner. This way they can absorb what they need to complete for the assignment and think in an innovate way. Great post!
