Description: This article is about a school security situation in my hometown, Sarasota. Schools are looking to set up a new police department which will consist of police officers and one chief who will be involved with maintaining security within the schools of Sarasota. There is a problem given the short time period of summer to be able to hire, train and establish this new department. Everything from intention, to budget, to policy is being discussed between different Sarasota officials. 

Problem: The problem, mostly, is the time period given to establish the new department. The police department currently wants to make it effective by the start of the school year in August. However, hiring the right officers, training them, and constructing the department is problematic given the time period of two and a half months. 

Who: Ultimately it is the children who have the problem. The whole point of the article is to provide safety to the public schools. With officials bickering back and forth on policy matters, the children are the people who''s problem isn't being solved, which is complete safety in their schools.

Description: This article describes the testing situation in Sarasota, FL. Kids are understanding the complication of tests and more and more are deciding to opt out. 

Problem: School tests are being responded negatively within the district. A kid from Pine View said he opts out of testing because he doesn't want his score to reflect the outcome of his teachers performance. More kids in the state are opting out because they dont agree with the idea of testing. 

Who: This is the school districts problem. Kids are realizing earlier now that testing is a ridiculous way to measure success. Students are opting out and Florida falls in one of the worst when it comes to test scores. The school district either needs to find better means of testing or suffer the consequences.

Problem: This article provides the solution to the problem of surviving a hurricane. Florida has this season every year, and the veteran provides essentials than he knows everyone will need for when the season hits. 

Who: People who live in Florida. Florida has more hurricanes than any other state. People outside of Florida can use this for the rare occasion it does happen to them, but people in Florida will use this every year. The 25 items listed by the veteran will help the Floridians and their hurricane problems.

Description: Alberto is a tropical storm that has been saturating Florida the last multiple days and is continues to move along the Gulf Coast. This is a short article discussing the importance to stay away from the waters. 

Problem: This is an entertainment problem. People enjoy going to the beach and with a tropical storm, there isn't much danger, but nothing to do now that all the beaches are stranded. 

Who: Gulf Coast residence have the problem here. A big reason people are visiting Florida/Live in Florida are for the beaches. Because of the tropical storm a lot of people's time are being spent indoors and maybe being bored. You are not allowed in the water so people cant enjoy the famous Florida beaches.

Description: 4,000 soldiers were lost at sea since 1900. This article was describing the honor and patriotism of individuals who celebrated Memorial Day despite the windy and rainy weather. 

Problem: The problem discussed in this article is something we simply cant control really, the lives lost in our military. The focus of this article is to show the dedication of the Sarasota people to honor their vets.

Who: The brave people of our military who wake up every day to save our country. Unfortunately, not everyone can make it and it is these people and their families that we try as Americans to keep our praise and honor for them endlessly.
